Development of a thermal model of a bus conductor with polymer-gas insulation for power transmission of offshore wind turns

On the basis of National Research University "MPEI", within framework project to create a busbar with polymer-gas insulation for transmission electricity from offshore wind turbines, study is being carried out develop insulating structures high-voltage busbars. The work devoted development and justification design special conductor combined (polymer-gas) laying in sea water electrical energy where polymer coating current-carrying elements used increase strength reduce dimensions current conductor, losses, main gas used. Technical solutions execution linear connecting sections bus ducts are presented. An analysis distribution thermal field coaxial gap was performed, demonstrating features sections.
 According calculations, conclusions were drawn about possibility using conductors.
